The first trailer for the upcoming remake of The Magnificent Seven has finally been revealed.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, (the acclaimed director behind Southpaw and Training Day) the film stars the likes of Chris Pratt, Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Peter Saarsgard, Vincent D’onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Martin Sensmeier.
An official synopsis reads: “With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue, the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns. As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.”
The film is a new interpretation of the classic 1960 Western of the same name, which originally starred the likes of Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson and Yul Brynner.
The Magnificent Seven will hit UK cinemas on 23rd September. Watch the trailer below.
