Novelty band Mac Sabbath, who do variations on classic Black Sabbath and Paranoid covers based on fast food have announced tour plans for this year.
In perhaps one of the oddest new stories of the year: Step aside Okilly Dokilly, there is a new parody band to rule the roost. Based on McDonald’s products, let me introduce you to Mac Sabbath.
The band, fronted by an evil interpretation of McDonald’s mascot Ronald McDonald do heavy rock and metal covers, inspired by the aforementioned bands. These include ‘Frying Pan’, a parody of ‘Iron Man’ and a ‘Paranoid’ cover, aptly named ‘Pair-Of-Buns.’
The band have announced plans for US tour, with support from the circus-inspired Elvis tribute act, Clownvis Presley. Erm okay.
