After months of waiting, we have finally found out when The Great British Bake Off is returning to our screens!
Following a number of teaser posts from Paul Hollywood via social media, it has been announced that the seventh series of the baking competition will launch on Wednesday 24th August at 8pm on BBC One.
Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins will return once again as hosts, while Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry will once again be judging the baking delights that this year’s contestants produce. Last year’s finale saw a whopping 13 million viewers watch as Nadiya Begum was named the 2015 winner.
