The Specials are the first act announced to play at BoomTown 2017.
The 2 Tone and ska legends will bring their rocksteady beats, Doc Martens and Wayfarers to the Matterley Bowl in Winchester from 10th to 13th August.
Following hot on the tails of Madness this past summer, The Specials will continue Boomtown’s ska music hot streak. 2016 witnessed a bona fide revolution and now as BoomTown hangs in the balance, some Coventry Calypso will continue the head-spinning theatrics for Chapter 9: ‘Behind the Mask’. With a back catalogue stuffed with hits like ‘A Message To You Rudy’, ‘Much Too Young’ and ‘Ghost Town’ next year’s lineup has gotten off to a very strong start.
Chapter 9 requires registration before purchasing any ticket with The Ticket Sellers. Tickets are available from £155. Tier 3 tickets can be purchased as a split payment ticket for a deposit of £40. Coach tickets are available from £170 and are a great way to save time money and the planet! Reduce that carbon footprint folks.
