An intimate interview with the Russo brothers and Kevin Feige has formed a key element of the first-look trailer at Avengers: Infinity War.
In the three minute clip, the audience get a few brief looks at what they can expect about the upcoming two-part Marvel Universe epic, which pits the Avengers against the ‘best, biggest, baddest and most feared’ Marvel enemy so far: Thanos. The omnipresent Blue titan has been a shadowy spectre in the background so far, manipulating events in the universe in order to gather the six Infinity Gems.
The Russo brothers appeared particularly excited about the upcoming two-parter, saying it would be bigger than anything ever done in film before, citing a climax which had been ten years in the making, since the first release of Marvel’s The Incredible Hulk back in 2008.
Although details are still unconfirmed, the film and it’s unnamed sequel is set to host the largest Marvel roster ever, with both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy set to appear. In addition, a variety of other characters based in the Marvel Universe, ranging from The Defenders to the Agents of SHIELD and The Secret Army have all expressed interests in appearing in the epic.
