Comedian and talk-show host- not to mention US sensation- James Corden has announced he is intending to bring his hit US show The Late Late Show to English broadcasting.
In an interview with Radio Times, Corden discussed the possibility of bringing his show back across the pond, saying: ‘We do have some stuff planned this year – which might involve being in the UK.’
He continued when specifically asked about the possibility of bringing the show to English television, adding, ‘We’re talking about it now, really.’ He did exercise caution, as ‘We don’t know if we’ll be able to get it together but it’s certainly something I’d love to do, for sure.’
Corden jokingly suggested he would target guests such as Victoria and David Beckham and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, commenting, ‘I don’t know if they ever would, but that would be terrific.’
Corden was speaking to Radio Times about his latest venture, which involves a special Comic Relief Carpool Karaoke special featuring legendary UK pop band Take That. Howard Donald also expressed his delight with being involved in the show, adding, “It was an amazing experience filming, you don’t realise how much work goes into it.’
Comic Relief 2017 takes place on 24th March. Check out recent highlights of The Late Late Show below:
