The newest trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has been released today- and with it comes a plethora of new footage from Marvel’s latest upcoming blockbuster.
Although we still don’t get much in the way of plot details, we do get a sense of the odds at stake. ‘There’s a thousand of them and five of us.’ Seems fair. Not to worry though, the seemingly omniscient narrator helpfully reminds us ‘You only get one shot at saving the Galaxy twice.’
In addition, there is a hilarious mix-up between Gamora and pained-adopted sister Nebula where she misquotes that as the ‘Gardens of the Galaxy.’ Groot-centric spin-off incoming?
In addition to the usual hilarity, we get a few brief snippets of Golden High Priestess Ayesha, who is expected to be the film’s key antagonist, promising to ‘cleanse the world for our people.’ In addition, we get a new conversation between the mysterious Ego and Peter Quill, a relationship which the film promises to explore a lot more.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is released in the UK on 28th April 2017. Check out the latest trailer below:
