Chicago lo-fi soul artist Willis Earl Beal has released his second unannounced album of the year, Curious Cool.
The album was made available through SoundCloud yesterday, and features eight new tracks. The record follows A Place That Doesn’t Exist, another eight track album which received a surprise release in January after the singer was forced to cancel his European tour.
Beal released his debut album Acousmatic Sorcery in 2012, followed by Nobody Knows last year. In February, a video for the single ‘Coming Through‘ from Nobody Knows was unveiled, featuring actress Mischa Barton.
