Charlie Simpson has unveiled the video for his song ‘Hunted’, which is to be the new single taken from upcoming album, Long Road Home.
The former Busted member – who did not take part in the recent unity of McFly and Busted who formed McBusted – attempts to direct his diva alter-ego in the music video but humorously struggles.
Talking about the video, Simpson said: “I am a big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, so when the video treatment came in for me to be playing a warped version of myself as well as the video director it sounded like a really funny idea. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out.”
Long Road Home is the follow-up album from the singer-songwriter’s debut album Young Pilgrim which managed to reach number 6 on the UK Top 40 and had four singles, consisting of the well-known ‘Down Down Down’ and ‘Parachutes’.
Charlie Simpson has also recently announced that he is to do his biggest headline show to date at the London Roundhouse, this coming October. You can buy tickets for the show here.
Long Road Home will be available to buy on 14th June, with ‘Haunted’ being available from 26th May for those that pre-order Simpson’s second album.
