Five piece band from Nottingham, Amber Run, have released the video for their new track ‘I Found’.
The video shows the reverse of Stockholm Syndrome in which hostages show feelings of sympathy or empathy toward their captors, while in this video one of the captors shows doubts very early on and ends up freeing his hostage and getting into a fight with his partner in crime.
The single itself is a slow number with intertwining harmonies and drum beats that sing “I found love where it wasn’t supposed to be right in front of me, talk some sense to me“. The video fits and expresses the message very well. It is also intriguing as the end screen reads “to be continued”, keeping listeners anticipating future releases.
Amber Run are set to support Lewis Watson on his upcoming autumn UK tour including a show in Southampton’s Talking Heads.
