‘Earth Not Above’ is the latest offering from London 3-piece HÆLOS, following their signing with Matador records. It’s a shimmering piece of electronic pop, with Massive Attack styled beats and haunting vocals. Expertly produced, the track elegantly ebbs and flows, with cinematic synthesised strings and lush harmonies creating an evocative atmosphere.

The band have been diligently plugging away for the past six months, with their debut single, ‘Dust’, storming to the top of Hype Machine last year, and being picked by Zane Lowe as his ‘Next Hype’ on BBC Radio 1. Lowe’s successor, Annie Mac, continued the championing of HÆLOS, and picked ‘Earth Not Above; to be played on her first show taking over the evening show on Radio 1.

HÆLOS are a group to watch.

‘Earth Not Above’ is out on May 4th via Matador records.
