Kylie Minogue will be joining the coaching panel for the third series of The Voice UK.
The Australian singer announced the news on her official Twitter page earlier today.
“#LOVERS I’m excited to announce that I’ll be coaching on @BBCTheVoiceUK next season!”
The 45-year-old is currently thought to be working on her twelfth studio album which will be her first new music since single ‘Timebomb’ which was released last year as part of her The Best of Kylie Minogue compilation. Minogue will be joining Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am on the judging panel, following the departure of Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue. A fourth coach is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, series two winner Andrea Begley announced her debut album The Message this week, which will be released on 21st October 2013 and will feature her cover version of Jake Bugg’s ‘Lightning Bolt’. Talking to Digital Spy about who she thought should be joining the coaching panel, Begley said “Adele would make a great coach”
Series three of The Voice UK is set to begin in March 2014.
