A host of pop stars from the 1980s will perform on the Common next summer, as the Let’s Rock one-day festival comes to Southampton.
Billy Ocean and Bananarama are just two of the names set to appear at the concert, which will be the first live music event to take place on the Common since 2006.
Following successful events in Berkshire and Bristol over the past five years, 2000 tickets will go on sale this Friday.
The full line up for Let’s Rock Southampton also includes Howard Jones, ABC, Go West, Nick Heyward, The Real Thing, Heaven 17, Then Jerico, Jaki Graham, Altered Images and Brother Beyond.
The organisers have promised that it will be a family-friendly festival, with plenty to do aside from the substantial line up, as a funfair, circus and TV entertainers will also be present.
Let’s Rock Southampton will take place on Saturday 12th July 2014. Adult tickets cost £39, with a VIP option available for £110. Tickets will be available through the official website from Friday 1st November 2013.
