BBC Radio 6 Music announce music festival

BBC Radio 6 Music have announced they’re putting on their first ever music festival.

The radio station has released details of an inaugural two-day festival, which will take place on the 28th February and 1st March, at the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester.

The lineup so far includes The National, James Blake, Haim, Bombay Bicycle Club, Nick Mulvey, Drenge, Luke Sital-Singh, Metronomy and Jimi Goodwin, with more to be announced as there are set to be 30 artists and DJs over the two stages throughout the two days. The rest of the lineup will be announced throughout today (Tuesday 21st January).

Tickets for the festival will cost £25 and are available from midday on Friday 24th January. More ticket information is available on the 6 Music website.

BBC Radio 6 Music will be broadcasting the festival from 1pm until 12am on both days of the festival.
