On Saturday 25th January, the British breakthrough act, Bastille, took to the Saturday Night Live stage, the US live late-night variety show.
The 12th episode of the 39th season was presented by Jonah Hill who has been recently nominated for an Oscar for his supporting performance in The Wolf of Wall Street. Bastille featured as the episode’s musical guests.
The British band’s performances featured two of their tracks from Bad Blood: ‘Pompeii’ and ‘Oblivion’.
Bastille’s debut album reached number one in the UK and number eleven in the US. The band also recently received four nominations for this year’s upcoming BRIT Awards.
