The first official trailer for The Fault in Our Stars has been released today.
The Fault in Our Stars, based on the best-selling novel by John Green, tells the story of two teenagers, who fall in love after meeting at a cancer support group. Wit and tragedy follows them through their unconventional endeavours.
The drama stars Shailene Woodley as the protagonist, Hazel, with Ansel Elgort playing the love-interest, Gus. The director of the film is Josh Boone, a relatively new director with a previous directorial filmography of one film, Stuck in Love, which received mediocre reviews from critics.
The trailer was revealed online late today, with John Green excitedly tweeting: “IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE.”
The Fault in Our Stars is due for release in the UK 20th June this year. Watch the trailer below.
