Following from his number one single ‘Money On My Mind’ Sam Smith has released the audio from his next single ‘Stay With Me’. The track premiered on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show earlier this evening.
The track oozes soul with Smith’s echoing vocals taking centre stage. It is simpler than the upbeat ‘Money On My Mind’ with minimal instrumentation. The gospel style chorus gives it depth and the steady beat throughout keeps it interesting. It shows a different side to Smith hinting towards the variety of tracks to expect from his debut album In The Lonely Hour due for release on 26th May 2014.
