La Roux has revealed her comeback single after a five-year hiatus. The track is entitled ‘Let Me Down Gently’ and was partly produced by Elly Jackson herself.
The five-minute song contains Jackson’s synth pop vocals and her trademark electronic sound. The track is taken from upcoming album Trouble in Paradise, which is to be released 7th July as a follow-up from their self-titled debut.
Trouble in Paradise‘s album artwork can also be seen, featuring Elly Jackson leaning on the front of a vintage car, sporting her iconic hair, and having an overall vibrant aesthetic, fitting perfectly with the album title. The track-listing of the album is as follows:
Uptight Downtown
