A new Disney adaptation of the classic tale, Cinderella, has released its teaser trailer.
The teaser trailer revolves around Cinderella’s glass slipper, which is finally displayed in full-view with a butterfly settling on its tip. The trailer reveals almost nothing; its ambiguity creating even more interest and wondering about how the film is going to twist the classic story.
The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh, an Oscar-nominated director, actor and screenwriter, who has starred in the likes of My Week with Marilyn and Henry V. The film stars Cate Blanchett as the voice of Lady Tremaine and Helena Bonham Carter as the voice of the Fairy Godmother.
The release of the teaser trailer has also coincided with the release of a teaser poster, which can also be seen.
The film is due for release in the UK on 3rd April 2015.
