The first trailer for Ridley Scott’s forthcoming biblical epic, Exodus: Gods and Kings has been revealed.
The trailer gives audiences a taste of Scott’s interpretation of the story of Moses (Christian Bale), as he rises up against Pharaoh Ramses (Joel Edgerton) in an attempt to lead the Israelite slaves out of Egypt.
Showing the pair in combat, the trailer promises audiences an action-packed film with well-shot war sequences, seeming very similar to Best Picture winner Gladiator; also directed by Scott.
The 20th Century Fox film also stars Sigourney Weaver, Aaron Paul and Ben Kingsley.
Exodus: Gods and Kings will be released 12th December.
