The first teaser trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey has been unveiled via Beyonce’s Instagram.
The teaser itself reveals very little: Jamie Dornan standing and facing away in his luxurious business space; white, clenching knuckles; the unlocking of a room and the caress of a leg. All these rapid snippets are complimented by a very breathy ‘Crazy In Love’.
The 2015 film is based on the book of the same name by E.L. James, which gained large popularity upon its release but lots of controversy because of its erotic use of the dominant and submissive, particularly with regard to the representation of women.
The film is to star Jamie Dornan as the infamous Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. It is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson who directed Nowhere Boy.
The film is due for release in the UK on the 13th February next year. Watch the teaser trailer below.
