The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 has revealed its first trailer online after its Comic-Con premiere.
The teaser trailer reveals very little, but showcases the intense action that is likely to saturate the next instalment of the film series. The teaser trailer also stresses the importance of the symbol of the Mockingjay and the faith the people have placed on it as well as the threat President Snow feels from the people’s hope.
The late Phillip Seymour Hoffman features in the trailer, along with the Oscar-winning Jennifer Lawrence continuing to portray the lead role of Katniss Everdeen. Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson and Josh Hutcherson remain in their roles for the upcoming film too.
Adapted from the novels by Suzanne Collins, the first part of Mockingjay is to be released 21st November, with the second part planned for release in November 2015.
