Gwen Stefani has revealed the sound to her new song ‘Baby Don’t Lie’. The track premiered online on Saturday before being taken down and resurfacing officially online this morning (20th October).
The track is to be the lead single of her upcoming third solo album, which Stefani has been teasing to fans recently. Stefani has been working with the likes of Charli XCX and Pharrell Williams on her upcoming third solo effort which will follow 2004’s Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and 2006’s The Sweet Escape.
Having last released an album eight years ago, Stefani’s comeback is one of the most highly-anticipated in the pop genre. But with ‘Baby Don’t Lie’ having an infectious chorus, a carnival-esque bump and Stefani’s signature vocals, the track is almost destined for a prosperous future.
The American artist has been behind the iconic songs ‘Holloback Girl’, ‘Rich Girl’ and ‘The Sweet Escape’, along with both her albums entering the top five in the US.
