It has been confirmed that a new Frankenstein drama will be arriving at FOX.
FOX has given a put-pilot agreement to the one-hour sci-fi drama, which focuses on the Frankenstein character in Mary Shelley’s novel of the same name, published back in 1818.
The drama is to be written and executive produced by Rand Ravich, the creator of Crisis and Life. The show is also to be executive produced by the executive producer of Homeland and Tyrant, Howard Gordan.
The upcoming drama will focus on Adam Tremble, a morally corrupt FBI agent who is given a second chance at life when he is resurrected from the dead. As a result, he is now younger and stronger and will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose whilst dealing with threats beyond the FBI’s capabilities. Tremble’s new self will also have to deal with the complex relationship of his creators: an antisocial internet billionaire and his twin sister, a bio-engineer.
