Adapted from the original works by P.G. Wodehouse by the Goodale Brothers and directed by Sean Foley, the Olivier Award winning Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense comes to the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton on 18th November for five nights of bonkers comedy.
Probably best known for Clyde Exton’s comedy-drama adaptation for ITV in the early nineties starring Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry, Jeeves and Wooster became household comedic names and one of Britain’s best-loved comedy duos.
The show will follow Wooster as he is unwittingly called on to play matchmaker, but is also required to thieve a silver cow creamer from Totleigh Towers. The loyal Jeeves, however, is there to try and prevent him from making a fool of himself.
James Lance (I’m Alan Partridge, Teachers) plays aristocratic clown Bertie Wooster, while John Gordon Sinclair (The Producers) takes on the role of dutiful valet, Jeeves.
Tickets for Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense are on sale now, with prices ranging between £14.50 to £29.50.
