The five piece indie rock band from Basingstoke are heading to The Railway in Winchester on the 23rd of May for a headline show to celebrate the recent launch of their EP, ‘Play’.
The EP, which was released on the 20th of April, features the singles ‘Circus Boy’ and ‘Shy’, which have received national and international airplay, as well as live favourite ’31’ which is due to be released later in the year.
Flashfires will be playing in Winchester as part of a larger tour of the South including dates in Swindon, London and Southampton.
Speaking about the launch party, lead singer Alex Gonzato said: “We’re looking forward to playing all these great shows on the tour. We are promoting our new EP ‘Play’ and our new music video ’31’ by returning to some familiar and new venues.”
They’ll be joined by rock ‘n’ roll quartet Pink Cigar from London (who have recently returned from touring in Europe), The Hixons, and Portsmouth based rock band The Novellas.
