Following the split of the Jam in 1982, bassist and vocalist Bruce Foxton embarked upon a solo career that saw him collaborate with many contemporary artists, finally concluding in his involvement with Stiff Little Fingers for 15 years. But after that ended, Foxton went back to his roots, and became the driving force behind From The Jam, an act that originally included ex-The Jam drummer Rick Buckler.
Currently, From The Jam comprises of Foxton, alongside Mark Brzezicki (drums), a rock drummer who is best known for his work with Big Country, but is also a former member of The Cult and Ultravox, and Russel Hastings, who played with former member Rick Buckler for over 5 years. This iconic threesome are now embarking upon a UK tour that sees them grace the Southampton Guildhall on November 20th, and it’s sure to be a show not to miss.
Expect all your The Jam favourites, including ‘A Town Called Malice’ and ‘Ghosts’, with a live presence that simply doesn’t get much better.
