Good news punk, rock and ska fans of Southampton! If like me you’ve been feeling glum because you don’t have the funds, means or energy to make it all the way up to Leeds or Hertfordshire at the end of the month for this year’s Slam Dunk Festival, fear not, because Slam Dunk is coming to you in the form of Slam Dunk ‘by the Sea’.
Although not supporting the forty plus bands of the two day main event, this one off night will represent a selection of the festival’s biggest bands, including Set Your Goals, Goldfinger, Anti-Flag and Less than Jake no less!
Taking place at the Guildhall on the 31st of May, this should prove to be an upbeat night of sweaty moshing, fast paced guitar riffs and cheesy American jokes in what’s sure to be the most fun you can legally have so close to Solent’s main campus!
So head down to the box-office (just round the corner from the main Guildhall entrance) or give them a ring on 02380 632601 to save yourself on those pesky booking fees and keep an eye on The EDGE for a review of night.
