Well look who it is.
Ever since the release of his debut solo album Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in autumn last year the ex-Oasis Commander in Chief has been on an absolute roll, touring non-stop with his new band in tow bringing the familiar sound of Britpop to the four corners of the globe. But after a string of massively successful summer festival shows seeing him play second fiddle beneath legends Bruce Springsteen and The Stone Roses Noel Gallagher takes centre stage once more as the second leg of his UK Arena tour kicks off with a sell out show at the Bournemouth International Centre.
With critically acclaimed record under his belt and sold out performances across the world, Noel has already asserted himself as the premier act to rise out of the smouldering wreckage left by the powder keg that was the Gallagher’s sibling rivalry. Although he no longer holds the franchise of being the last man standing playing the tracks from the old days as young Liam has since decided that he sorely missed crooning ‘Wonderwall’ so much that Beady Eye will in fact be playing the old classics again, prompting Noel to label them ‘Stratford’s finest Oasis tribute band’
Noel Gallagher hits the BIC on Tuesday the 4th of September as he wraps up his UK Tour with five arena shows and an appearance at the iTunes festival before jetting off to Thailand to begin the final stretch of his world tour.
Tickets for his remaining UK dates are still available here and the iTunes festival sign up page is still open here.
