Electropop, synthpop, dance-punk, even ‘Indietronica’; call them what you want, but Hot Chip are undoubtedly one of the most critically acclaimed and popular electronic bands in British Music, and they’re coming to our very own Guildhall.

With five albums under their belts (one of which, The Warning, was mercury-nominated, they’ll have you know), you would be foolish to miss out on the London septet’s irresistible brand of dance music. After wowing audiences at festivals such as Bestival over the summer, the band have more than proved that they deserve a headline show at a venue as vast as the Guildhall.

On the back of the release of their latest critically-acclaimed album In Our Heads, the band will be sure to play a mix of new and old, so expect to hear frontman Joe Goddards unique falsetto blasting out new hits such as ‘Night and Day’ and ‘How Do You Do?’ as well as classics such as ‘Over and Over’ and ‘I Feel Better’.
