Kicking off their gig-filled summer in France today, indie pop 5-piece Dutch Uncles will be arriving at Southampton’s Joiners Arms on 24th May. With album number three (released in January this year), ‘Out of Touch in the Wild’, receiving critical acclaim, this is also a band not to miss playing live – check out their video for ‘Flexxin’ for a preview! Having seen them a few years ago at the same venue, it’s clear that lead singer Duncan Wallis brings fantastic stage presence with his quirky dance moves. The band, currently signed to ‘Memphis Industries’, an independent British label, list some of their influences from the likes of King Crimson, XTC and Talking Heads.
