English four-piece Palma Violets will play a gig at the University of Southampton on the 2nd December as part of their current UK tour.
The nine-date tour kicked off in Lincoln on 21st November, but the garage-rock band will play at the University as their penultimate performance before a show in London.
The band released their debut album 180 in February through Rough Trade, and were later named Best New Band at the NME Awards earlier this year.
Support for the gig will come from Childhood and Telegram.
The gig is part of a concerted effort to make better use of the Garden Court venue behind The Stag’s Head, having recently hosted bands including Frightened Rabbit and Local Natives. We Are Scientists will also play at the venue in 2014.
