On the cusp of releasing their new album, Leeds riffmeisters Pulled Apart by Horses are undertaking an intimate 19-date tour, stopping by at Southampton’s Cellar on Saturday 10th May.
Forming in 2008 from the ashes of several defunct acts of the Leeds music scene, Pulled Apart by Horses have garnered a cult following through their combination of frenetic riffs, macabre sing-a-longs and an impeccable live reputation, earning the group support slots with bands such as Foals, Biffy Clyro and Muse.
Their albums have also received critical acclaim, their eponymous début and Gil Norton-produced (Pixies, Foo Fighters) second album Tough Love both scoring 8/10s on NME and Drowned in Sound.
Support for the night will be provided by the much-hyped Brighton band The Wytches, whose gritty psychobilly caught the attention of Heavenly Recordings; the group joining a roster which includes Mark Lanegan, Temples and Toy.
Tickets are available for £10 here.
