It’s already been a busy year for California metalcore outfit Of Mice & Men, what with releasing their new album Restoring Force and getting ready to embark on a mammoth tour of the US with Bring Me The Horizon which will be taking up the whole of February and March, but they’ve still found time to return to UK shores for a short tour that begins at the Southampton Mo Club on April 16th and runs the length of the UK before finishing up in Cardiff on the 23rd.
They’ve already garnered significant critical acclaim for their new album, which takes their signature heavy metalcore sound and adds more melodic nu-metal style elements. This can be clearly seen the album’s lead single, ‘You’re Not Alone’, a crushing tour de force which has provided the band with their first charting single. You can definitely expect to hear the band delivering that one with their signature crushing intensity on tour. Of Mice & Men have a reputation for providing seriously incendiary live shows, with charismatic frontman Austin Carlile presiding over the crowd like an especially demented and furious circus ringmaster, and this tour promises to be more of the same. If you love your metal loud and frenzied you won’t want to miss this!
Support on this tour come from fast rising fellow Americans Issues and take-no-prisoners hardcore act Beartooth. Tickets for the entire UK run are now sold out, so, if you were lucky enough to pick some up get ready for an exhilarating, and incredibly loud ride.
