Possibly one of the cheapest multi-venue events around, Dot To Dot was honoured with the title of Best Metropolitan Festival at the 2013 UK Festival Awards, and it isn’t difficult to understand why. With skilled festival curators, some of the most promising national and international acts are showcased at the single day event, which takes place in three cities across England.
For the tenth year in a row, Dot To Dot will put on a line-up of artists at the forefront of fame, with huge amounts of potential. This year sees the biggest line-up yet, with headline performances from Peace, Drenge and Real Estate. Other much-hyped acts appearing include solo musician RHODES, Gorgon City collaborator Laura Welsh, ‘Young Blood‘ singer Saint Raymond, English singer-songwriter Lauren Aqulina, and alternative rock quartet, Wolf Alice. The line-up features a total of more than 100 acts.
Originally beginning in Nottingham, the festival has spread out across the years, spending a year in London before settling on the three cities which it now covers. Dot To Dot 2014 will take place on 23rd May in Manchester, 24th May in Bristol, and 25th May in Nottingham, making it not TOO far from most places in the country.
In the last three years alone, Dot To Dot has hosted acts in tiny venues in the middle of the day, who have gone on to sell out tours across the world. Ed Sheeran, Bastille, SBTRKT, Jake Bugg, London Grammar, and so so many more have graced the stages across the UK, so don’t miss out on your chance to see the future of music at this year’s event.
