Yorkshire rockers and notorious hell raisers Asking Alexandria will be stopping off at the O2 Guildhall in Southampton this autumn on November 5th as part of their From Death To Destiny Tour. The band are back in the UK after their incredibly successful tour supporting Bullet for My Valentine last winter.
Asking Alexandria have enjoyed something of a meteoric rise over the last couple of years culminating in their most recent album ‘From Death To Destiny’ debuting at number 1 on the UK Rock and Metal chart and at number 6 on the US billboard 200 chart. The release marked a shift away from the band’s former electronic metalcore style to a more hard-rock influenced sound, inspired by rock titans such as Guns ‘n’ Roses and Motley Crue, but still with a modern metal edge
Live, expect ferocious guitar solos, some great singing (although it’ll almost certainly be interspersed with lewd suggestions to the crowd) from infamous frontman Danny Worsnop, and some serious mosh pit based ferocity from the audience.
Support on the tour will be provided by Californian melodic hardcore act The Ghost Inside, ambitious Texan metalcore newcomers Crown The Empire and San Diego based post hardcore act Secrets.
Tickets for the show cost £18.70 and are available here.
