Fresh from touring in the USA, Catfish & The Bottlemen have come back across the Atlantic for another headline UK tour, including a double-date at London’s famous Brixton Academy.
Headed by eccentric frontman Van McCann, ‘The Bottlemen’ are rapidly becoming a household name in the indie genre due to their incredible rise in the last 18 months. Their debut album The Balcony was released in mid-2014, after the band had received huge exposure by the BBC – including huge support from DJ Zane Lowe – which culminated in a BBC Introducing Award and even performing on the Late Show with David Letterman, after the album was released in the US.
Their biggest single ‘Kathleen’, while being a brilliant track, became very famous at the end of 2013 because of it’s Ewan McGregor inspired music video – of which the man himself then publicly declared himself a fan of the band, to their delight! If he’s a fan, then it’s got to be worth seeing!
Tickets sold out almost instanteously for the Welsh band’s tour, so if you’re lucky enough to have tickets you’re in for a treat but if not make sure you see them at any of their many festival dates during the summer!
