Welsh crossover metal quintet Skindred will be headlining the O2 Guildhall, Southampton in early November with an exciting bill of support acts.
Formed in Newport, South Wales in 1998, the band have become famous for their energetic live performances and eclectic blending of styles. Their past composition has included combinations of, to name a few genres, heavy metal, hardcore punk, reggae, jungle and dubstep. Skindred’s new album Volume is due to be released on the 30th October, so we’ll undoubtedly be seeing a lot of their new material on tour.
They will be accompanied by main support act Crossfaith, a Japanese electronicore band formed in 2006. After releasing their critically acclaimed first EP Zion the quintet, fronted by vocalist Koie Kenta, experienced international success, springboarding them onto the release of their third full-length album Apocalyze. They will also be releasing a new record, Xeno, before setting off on tour with Skindred.
Completing the list of support acts for the evening are Californian rapcore quartet Hed PE and altrnative rock group Yashin, so expect an energetic and very involving evening in the Guildhall.
