An American quartet from Riverside, CA in the United States, Alien Ant Farm will be travelling to the south coast of England in order to play at the Old Fire Station in Bournemouth for the penultimate show of their 16-date UK leg of their ‘Anthology’ tour.
The rockers will be playing Anthology, the most successful record the four-piece have released from their five studio albums, in its entirety. The album features their cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Smooth Criminal’ – what the band are most noted for. When the group released the track back in 2001 it actually charted higher in the UK singles charts (third) than the original track from the King of Pop which only managed to peak at number eight.
Support on this tour comes from Essex-based rockers InMe who were psyched to be asked to play with Alien Ant Farm. Frontman Dave McPherson proclaimed: “We’re really excited to be out on this tour and to be playing together on bigger stages around the UK. We used to play Alien Ant Farm’s Anthology to death back when we were just starting out so it’s really special to be on the road hearing that record every night!”
