Hot young indie band Black Honey are arriving in Southampton on the 16th March, as part of their tour which sees them play ten cities in just 19 days. Playing from Newcastle-upon-Tyne down to Guildford, the Brighton band are joined on their travels by special guest Johnny Lloyd, formerly of Tribes.
Black Honey have done their best to keep themselves mysterious, with lead singer Izzy B claiming she would rather “still be a secret band” in an interview with DIY Magazine. But while still fairly underground, Black Honey have started receiving attention, and a buzz is growing ahead of their debut album, which they claim is “already written”, although when it will be released is as yet unknown.
The band currently have just seven tracks available to hear on their YouTube and Soundcloud accounts, but with the level of excitement around a band that have been compared to recent breakthrough group Wolf Alice, the 16th could be your chance to see another group who are about to take off.
