V Festival 2016 will once again be split between Weston Park and Hylands Park. Both are picturesque estates, the former situated half an hour north-west of Birmingham whilst the latter sits just a couple of miles outside of Chelmsford.
The festival’s organisers have arguably gone bigger and better compared to last year’s line-up of Calvin Harris, Stereophonics, Kasabian and Sam Smith, with the 2016 edition of V Festival being headlined by pop behemoths Justin Bieber, Sia, Rihanna and David Guetta.
V Festival has become one of the UK’s biggest and best-loved musical extravaganzas since it’s induction into the summer scene back in 1996. Hundreds of thousands of festival goers flock simultaneously to the Weston and Hylands Parks every August to catch some of the world’s biggest artists play their hits. The artists are all quite mainstream, but there are always a few smaller, more niche artists for you to sink your teeth into over the weekend. As well as the aforementioned headliners the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Bastille, Years & Years, Halsey, Tinie Tempah, Craig David and Big Sean will also be making appearances across the weekend.
BBC Radio 1 will also have their Summer Of Dance Stage for fans to rave the night away, with sets this year by Annie Mac, Eric Prydz, and Danny Howard, as well as live performances from Gorgon City and Wilkinson.
