The people behind legendary club night Cherry Cola are working in collaboration with Jack Daniels and Spotify to create Hackney Wonderland, a weekend promising insights into new bands and intimate performances from some crowd favourites.
Your ticket for the innovative indoor festival is swapped for a wristband which then allows you entry into the 5 different venues, playing host to an array of artists from the indie genre.
This year, Saturday night is headlined by Mystery Jets and Sunday sees small but mighty songstress Lucy Rose take the top spot. If those two names weren’t exciting enough, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Yuck, We Are Scientists, Misty Miller and Swim Deep are all set to grace the stage at either Oval Space, The Laundry, London Fields Brewery, Sebright Arms or the Pickle Factory – all a few minutes walk away from each other to ensure easy stumbling between each one.
This year sees the festival making a weekend off it for the first time, with the music spread over two days to make a real event of it. Having previously seen the likes of Little Comets and Frankie and the Heartstrings on the bill, the Hackney Wonderland creators sure know a thing or two about putting on the best show for indie music.
Hackney Wonderland takes place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th October. Tickets are available to buy here for £27.50 a day, an absolute steal for a weekend of up close and personal performances and real party vibes.
