Off the back of her chart-topping album, I Cry When I Laugh, Jess Glynne will be performing at Wincanton Racecourse this July as part of her new mini-tour. The tour will cover four leading racecourses around the country, including Aintree and Newmarket from June to August. In the infamous venue, which has housed some of the world’s leading performers, Glynne will perform an outdoor concert against the summer sunshine. The gig follows not only the platinum album, but also a commercially succesful and critically acclaimed arena tour throughout the second half of 2016.
Rising to fame on the Clean Bandit hit ‘Rather Be’, Glynne has become recognised for her unique vocal talents which allow her to experiment with the fun-style of ‘Hold My Hand’ while also exposing her vulnerable and carefully pitched vocal in ‘Take Me Home’. She has also recorded five consecutive number-one singles matching the previous record held by Cheryl. She has certainly proved a force to be reckoned with. Ahead of the show, Glynne has said that “she can’t wait to share some summer evenings with [my]fans” and that she “is sure this will be a perfect show”.
Tickets for the show at Wincanton on 1st July are available to purchase here.
