Having only formed in 2010, by 2014 the band had released their debut album and were already underway touring the US as an opening act for We Are The In Crowd. From then their fanbase grew, leading to their second full length album Around the World and Back, a combination of explosive hits of electric guitar setting the punk vibe. A highlight is ‘Around the World and Back,’ which is a more sincerely written acoustic number about the life of touring.
State Champs are curently signed to Pure Noise Records and have a a busy year ahead of them with their first headline tour coming up. The band are set to tour the UK before heading back to their home turf in the US to continue the second leg there.
Having already toured with the likes of All Time Low and Neck Deep the group have have also found themselves on the main stage at Reading and Leeds Festival. If you are a pop punk fan this band is an absolute must see. Having seen them do a small gig at my home town a few years back I have seen them every year since; if that doesn’t speak volumes whats even better is they are heading to Southampton and will be supported by two up and coming bands: As it Is and Northbound.
