English comedian, John Bishop has announced his huge Winging It tour, which will kick off on January 6th, 2018 in a sold-out show on Jersey. He will then tour across the UK, visiting Southampton on March 19th and Bournemouth on March 24th, before finishing off in Liverpool on March 30th.
The Liverpudlian comic started his adult life with a high-flying career in pharmaceuticals before making the switch to comedy with his first public performance in 2000. Since then he has received nominations for several comedy awards including as a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny, the BBC New Comedy Awards, The City Life North-West Comedian of the Year, and The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Awards.
He has since become a broadcaster for Radio City 96.7 and has written a play for Radio 4 called Happy Families. It was at this point he went full-time with his comedy career with mixed reviews at his first Edinburgh Fringe show, Freefall, but a total sell-out for his Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated show Elvis Has Left The Building.
