Law and Order star Dennis Farina dies at 69


Policeman turned actor Dennis Farina has passed away. According to his publicist, Lori De Waa, the ‘Law and Order’ star died Monday morning in Scottsdale, Ariz., hospital suffering from a blood clot in his lung.

The actor, who previously served 18 years in Chicago Police Department’s burglary division, starred as Det. Joe Fontana in ‘Law and Order’, as well as appearing in ‘Saving Private Ryan’ and most recently the HBO series ‘Luck’.
