Tony Bennett announces UK and Ireland tour

The American jazz singer is to take the stage during a mini tour in the UK and Ireland this coming September.

The tour includes dates at Dublin, London, Birmingham and Glasgow, featuring two dates at the Royal Festival Hall.

With a more than impressive discography, the 87 year-old artist’s most successful was the recent studio album, Duets II which reached number 1 in the US and entered the top 10 in the UK. The album featured duets with the likes of Lady Gaga, and the late Amy Winehouse.

Bennett is to continue his musical relationship with Gaga, as the two will release their joint album, Cheek to Cheek. The album is due for release later this year, after being pushed back several times.

The tours dates for Bennett’s mini tour can be seen below:

4th September – London, Royal Festival Hall
5th September – London, Royal Festival Hall
9th September – Glasgow, Concert Hall
11th September – Birmingham, Symphony Hall
12th September – Dublin, Bord Gais Energy Theatre

The tickets for the Dublin date are already on sale, with the rest available to buy this Friday.
