Lana Del Rey reveals details of new album Honeymoon

Lana Del Rey has revealed that her next album, the follow-up to Ultraviolence, will be titled Honeymoon.

The ‘Born to Die’ singer has stated that she has written a total of nine songs for the album so far, and is planning on including a cover of the Nina Simone version of ‘Don’t Let Me Be Understood’.

Speaking about her new work Del Rey has described the upcoming record as “very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise.” The singer is still “looking for a few more songs to tie everything together.”

Recently, Del Rey discussed a new track she is currently working on titled ‘Music To Watch Boys To’, which is thought to feature on forthcoming album Honeymoon. 

Del Rey has recently worked alongside Tim Burton curating two songs for his latest feature film Big Eyes (2014) which features on the soundtrack alongside the film’s score by Danny Elfman.

Listen to the title track ‘Big Eyes’ below which has led to a Golden Globe nomination for Del Rey.
