During the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, at the panel for The Force Awakens, the new trailer was premiered.
Featuring a voiceover from Luke Skywalker, flight scenes, Darth Vader’s melted helmet, lightsabers, R2-D2, the sure-to-be adorable BB-8 droid, Stormtroopers, a downed Star Destroyer on a desert planet (named Jakku) and a last second appearance from Han Solo and Chewbacca (Harrison Ford and Peter Mayhew), this trailer is full to the brim and extremely exciting for fans.
With the focus of the trailer still on the new characters, but still refusing to give very little away, it’s amazing that it can still be this great. Everything that we are shown brief flashes of looks incredible and the wait for its release is becoming harder and harder.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released in the UK on the 18th of December.
