Hozier announces UK tour for 2016


Hozier will be touring the UK once again to further promote and celebrate the huge success of his eponymous debut record.

The Irish singer-songwriter will begin his UK tour in January of next year, starting in Edinburgh, before heading to a number of cities including Portsmouth and London. The tour will come to a close in Cardiff towards the beginning of February 2016.

The LP Hozier was released in 2014, reaching number one in Ireland and number three in the UK, and spawning hit singles ‘Take Me To Church’ and ‘From Eden’. The critically acclaimed album brought Hozier great success leading to numerous festival appearances this year, including Glastonbury and V Festival.

The tour dates are as follows:

8th January – Usher Hall, Edinburgh
9th January – O2 Apollo, Manchester
11th January – O2 Academy Sheffield, Sheffield
12th January – Empire, Liverpool
29th January – O2 Academy Brixton, London
2nd February – O2 Academy Birmingham, Birmingham
4th February – Guildhall, Portsmouth
5th February – St David’s Hall, Cardiff

Pre-sale starts Wednesday 2nd September at 9am, and is available through the Hozier mailing list. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 4th September at 9am.
